A fascinating premise that involves some mysterious powerful black bricks, some that come out of human orifices, is a bit frustrating because by the end you will still be wondering what it is all about, and what you’ve just seen.
An amazing practically one-woman film, it’s starring Lily Sullivan, who is confining herself to a hilltop modern house. She’s a disgraced journalist who is trying to revive her career.
The strange film is filled with images of a man jumping out of a car, a flurry of family photos dumped in the street, close-ups of a voice in stress, and a man with a face like a wet bread creature who is in the bathtub. And of course a thick black brick that comes out of your mouth.
