Another movie very obviously shot during the pandemic will seem quaint and outdated in the very near future. Masks are worn and people are paranoid and Covid-19 is very much alive and well, but four friends decide they are going on a camping trip.
Two couples get together for a get-away after being away from each other and the rest of the world for way too long. Unfortunately, what happens to them becomes rather predictable, despite the infusion of necessary humor where it’s needed in this horror/thriller.
The story follows Ace, who is played by a likable Alex Gravenstein, (The Dark Pictures: House of Ashes) who asks his best friend Enzo to go camping. Enzo is played by co-director and screenwriter Leonardo Fuica, and he plays it very much for laughs. Both of the guys are rather broke, but they keep it from their girlfriends who are coming along for the camping trip.
