Throughout this movie of wacky and wild characters all in the same family, “Wildflower” will make you laugh, cry and swell with inspiration. It’s described easily as “charming,” and that’s true, but it’s so much more. It’s real. And, I can’t find a thing wrong with it.

What a lovely film. It’s filled with a lot of heart, good acting and crisp writing that tells a story that rings so true. The reason that it is so genuine is because it is actually the true story of the family of the director and co-writer Matt Smukler, who did an award-winning documentary of his family two years ago with the same name “Wildflower.”
